Axmouth

 

Welcome to the Axmouth website.

Axmouth parish, with a population of some 500, includes the picturesque Axmouth Harbour and the Axe Estuary, an important wetlands site for birds. Axmouth village has many listed buildings, including St Michael's church, and it has two pubs and a camp site. There are further small settlements at Dowlands, Stedcombe Vale, and Boshill, the whole parish being within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coastline includes the Undercliffs National Nature Reserve, part of the 'Jurassic Coast', with its geological and wildlife interest.

On this website you will find information about the Parish Council. You will also find links to community groups and services, and to leisure activities and facilities.

Annual Parish Meeting

 

 Notice is hereby given that the

Annual Parish Meeting of Axmouth

will be held in Axmouth Village Hall

on Wednesday 17th May, 2017 at 7.00pm

 

The Annual Parish Meeting is an opportunity for parishioners on the Electoral Roll for Axmouth to raise any matters of concern to them that relates to their local community. It would be helpful to have written notice of any matters to be raised but it is not essential. Matters can be raised at the meeting without prior notice. For any queries, please contact the Clerk to the Parish Council.
