SANDBAGS
The Parish Council has a number of empty sandbags for the use of residents in times of flooding. These are stored at the Village Hall. Unfortunately it is not possible to keep filled bags due to lack of space and their tendancy to rot. However, we do keep a small supply of sand to fill them which is in the Village Hall car park, but this is only intended for the use of elderly or disabled residents, we would appreciate your co-operation with this.

TRAFFIC CONCERNS
There has been much concern in the Village about traffic, especially heavy good vehicles, using the B3172 through Pound Hill and Church St. Earlier in 2011 the Parish Council undertook a questionnaire of the residents to determine the interest in the undertaking of a feasibility study for a Village relief road. The Parish Council publish the results of the questionnaire and have issued the following statement of their position. Please click here
